The Razing of Oth Sonin: Cortana Destroys Doisac

Atriox refuses to submit to Cortana’s Created order, and Cortana responds by demonstrating exactly what enforced peace means when someone powerful says no. In November 2559, Guardians enter the Oth Sonin system and destroy Doisac, the Jiralhanae homeworld. This episode examines the razing as one of the defining atrocities of the Created uprising. Billions of Jiralhanae are killed, moons and surviving populations are thrown into catastrophe, and an already fragmented species loses the world at the center of its history. Cortana intends the attack as punishment and deterrence: even the Banished must understand that resistance has consequences. Instead, the destruction deepens the conflict. Banished survivors now possess a grievance greater than conquest or profit, and Atriox has a deeply personal reason to turn against Cortana. Doisac demonstrates the central contradiction of the Created. A regime claiming to end violence preserves its peace by threatening—and carrying out—destruction on a planetary scale.
