Adria: Orici, Commander, and Living Weapon

Adria was created to give the Ori a commander who could act in the physical universe with knowledge and abilities beyond those of an ordinary human. Born to Vala Mal Doran after an accelerated pregnancy, she matured at extraordinary speed and was raised within Origin as the Orici, the chosen leader of the crusade. This episode examines Adria as daughter, believer, strategist, and living weapon. She commanded fleets, directed occupations, manipulated Vala’s maternal attachment, and used Prior-like powers to intimidate or destroy opponents. Unlike the distant Ori, Adria could negotiate, interrogate, and adapt directly on the battlefield. Her certainty was genuine, but it had been engineered through upbringing and access to carefully controlled knowledge. After the Sangraal destroyed the ascended Ori, Adria herself ascended and inherited the power generated by their worshippers.
