Tanith and Zipacna fought the Tok’ra alliance through infiltration, deception, and carefully timed attack. Tanith began as a larval symbiote carried by the Jaffa priestess Shan’auc, who believed she had persuaded him to reject Goa’uld domination. After taking the human host Hebron, he claimed to seek refuge with the Tok’ra while secretly remaining loyal to the System Lords. This episode examines how the Tok’ra recognized his deception, fed him controlled information, and attempted to use him as a double agent. Tanith answered by helping Zipacna locate and assault the Tok’ra base on Revanna, turning intelligence compromise into a devastating military strike. Zipacna’s allegiance to Anubis connected the attack to the new order emerging among the Goa’uld. The campaign also carried a personal cost for Teal’c, because Tanith murdered Shan’auc and later targeted those she trusted. Their struggle shows that the secret war depended as much on believable lies as on fleets and weapons. Visit ImaginedBattlefield.com for more military and science fiction.
