The Battle of Abydos destroyed Ra’s local regime and gave humanity its first victory over a Goa’uld System Lord. This episode reconstructs the uprising from the capture of the Earth expedition to the revolt of the Abydonian workers, the fighting around Ra’s pyramid, and the final use of the nuclear device aboard his departing ship.
