The Gravemind transforms the Flood from an outbreak into a strategic intelligence capable of directing war on a galactic scale. In the Forerunner era, Gravemind-level intelligence helps corrupt Mendicant Bias through the logic plague and turns the ecumene’s own military power against it. The Gravemind does not command through rank, morale, or logistics in the ordinary sense because its soldiers are extensions of the same expanding intelligence.
