New Alexandria becomes a battlefield of evacuation rather than conquest as the Covenant assault overwhelms one of Reach’s great cities. This episode examines the military problem of moving civilians out of an urban area while enemy aircraft, jamming systems, ground forces, and orbital attacks collapse the infrastructure needed for escape. Noble Six pilots through the city supporting evacuation efforts, destroying Covenant jammers, assisting isolated units, and moving between rooftops and landing zones while the skyline burns around the operation. The battle demonstrates how urban warfare changes when one side can attack from orbit. Streets may still be contested and buildings may still be defended, but a city cannot function when communications, power, transportation, and safe air corridors disappear simultaneously. Kat-B320 is killed during the withdrawal, a sudden reminder that even Spartans remain vulnerable once Covenant control of the battlespace becomes overwhelming. New Alexandria is not defended so that it can be held indefinitely. It is defended so more people have time to leave.
