Admiral Cole and the Long Campaign to Retake Harvest

Preston Cole became humanity’s most important early naval commander because he found ways to win battles against Covenant ships that outclassed his own. His first major victory over Harvest required an enormous human battle group to defeat a single powerful Covenant vessel, and the losses revealed the scale of the technological imbalance facing the UNSC.
