The Ghost Bear Dominion became one of the most successful attempts to combine Clan and Inner Sphere society, but its stability depended on compromise rather than the disappearance of cultural differences. This episode traces the relationship between Clan Ghost Bear and Rasalhague from conquest through the Great Migration, political integration, military reorganization, and the annexation of the surviving Free Rasalhague Republic during the Jihad. Rasalhagian institutions brought population, legitimacy, and local knowledge; the Ghost Bears supplied military strength, technology, transport, and a culture that increasingly treated the region as home rather than occupied territory. The union still preserved significant warrior-caste authority and produced resistance when Clan rules displaced established military status. By 3151, the question became whether the Dominion should join Alaric Ward’s new Star League. A narrow pro-membership vote failed to settle the issue and helped trigger violent conflict between Joiners and Deniers. The Dominion survived because neither Clan nor Rasalhague could simply erase the other. Visit ImaginedBattlefield.com for more military and science fiction.
