Aleksandr Kerensky faced an impossible choice after Stefan Amaris seized Terra: accept the usurper, wait for the Great Houses to act, or turn the Star League Defense Force against the regime occupying the Hegemony. As Commanding General, Kerensky rejected Amaris and began the long process of consolidating loyal forces, ending the Periphery campaign, securing supplies, and preparing to retake the League’s core worlds. This episode follows the war against the Amaris Empire from the outer Hegemony toward Terra. It examines operational planning, fortress worlds, naval power, attrition, and the political difficulty of fighting without unified support from the Council Lords. Kerensky’s armies won through discipline and persistence, but every liberated system imposed further losses on forces that could not be easily replaced. The campaign made Kerensky a legendary commander while destroying much of the state he hoped to restore. His victory would remove Amaris, but it could not recreate the political trust the coup had ended. Visit ImaginedBattlefield.com for more military and science fiction.
